THE CREATION OF
The Actually Stephen channel was created on July 20th 2019, to serve the purpose of sharing the Q&A's Stephen would host in Discord every Saturday with everyone who wasn't in the server or couldn't make it in!
THE EVOLUTION
When Stephen began doing variety livestreams, he first brought his best friend Hosuh to draw with him. Soon that became Stephen and his younger brother Gavin playing video games together after Hosuh left to attend to his mandatory military service in Korea on February 16th. This became more than just gaming content, making them a variety channel!
AS THEY ARE NOW
Actually Stephen collabs with a lot of people! In 2020 it was usually for Among Us streams, but for other games too, like Phasmophobia or Raft. One time they peaked at 10k viewers for an Among Us stream in 2020! (That's crazy!!!!)
In November 2020, the bros beat Minecraft Hardcore in 7 days with their face reveal on the line, when they weren't expecting to win at all. They were actually ready to face reveal at that point!
On January 5th of 2021 they streamed their face reveals, which they've been planning to do for a couple months because they want to feel closer to the fans and because they want to do more IRL content!
In May 2021, Stephen and Gavin decided to start making the move to Twitch, because YouTube streaming doesn't work well in their favor and because YouTube streaming is new and obscure, no one really knew who they were when they'd mention they streamed on YouTube. They got 1.5k followers on Twitch before getting affiliate! On June 1st, at over 4k followers, they were officially partnered!
Ever since Gavin started streaming on his own Twitch, itsgng, in early August 2021, the Ng bros have been streaming on their lonesome (sometimes gaming with friends and each other!) but don't worry, they're both still Actually Stephen!
Stephen had been quietly a part of a new YouTube channel with his friends Hosuh and Hart called Plan3, and we finally found out in August 2021! Stephen streams with Hosuh and Hart on their Twitch channel PlanBeta!

Before Actually Stephen, Stephen worked with the YouTube channel DanPlan, which was at the time completely an animation channel. Stephen was alongside Hosuh, Daniel, and reoccurring members Jay and Ann. Stephen was in nearly every video, giving edge and chaotic energy to every video he was in, earning himself a good fanbase of his own. On January 4th 2020, it was announced that he had left DanPlan because of mistreatment and manipulation from Daniel.

Doesn't mind shipping! As long as it's his persona and not himself. when it comes to NSFW he doesn't wanna see it. He's been sent NSFW art of his persona before, so if he were to see NSFW of him in real life, he'd think it's VERY weird. (Got that from an old Q&A stream!)

In the old Q&A streams, Stephen has had the guest of his sister's cat, Mickey, causing disturbances on stream. (Mickey is mostly referred to as "(the) Cat") Mickey shows up on stream a lot recently to be exploited for views <3
He has, believe it or not, put on the cat ears AND maid dress.
However, he's a dog person. (Tragic, I know) But don't worry, he exudes catboy behavior. He is still your catboy. Do not fret.

Co-owner of Actually Stephen, and streams on his own Twitch, itsgng!
Majors in Business, so he handles all the sponsorship deals and so on! (Stephen helps, Gavin says)
Because of his expertise in business he is also a master scammer. You have been warned. /hj

Has a couple of personas he plays from time to time! The most reoccurring one is Mafia Gavin/Don Gavino, but there's been a handful of one-and-done personas.
He's a super open-minded and transparent person, you WILL fall in love with Gavin.
Gavin has cats! Van Gogh and Frida! They've been seen in the background of the irl streams and on facecam streams. They aren't his, really, but they're at his house.

Stephen's best friend for 9 years
Not officially said to be a member, but the fans love him too much.
Hosuh's military service ended on August 25th 2021, meaning he's a free man now!
Other than the RPG comics, Hosuh has been working on a video, and has been working on some secret projects with Hart and possibly others! Is the video and secret project the same thing? Who knows!
Hosuh once mentioned how he'd like to start a gaming channel with Stephen
His passion is art! After his military service, Hosuh plans to finish getting his degree to go back and get an art degree.
Considered the "Baby boy cinnamon roll soft baby tiny smol boi" member (This is only half true, and don't lie, there are Hosuh fans that talk about him like this-)

Hosuh taught Stephen how to play DOTA in high school
Stephen says Hosuh is even more toxic than him when they play DOTA together, but we can only take Stephen's word for it
